Hamblen County Surpasses Fundraising Goal with United Way!

The United Way of Hamblen County is celebrating a tremendous achievement after exceeding its annual fundraising goal for the third year in a row. The organization announced at their Annual Meeting this week, held at the Rose Center, that they raised an impressive $1,461,979, surpassing their goal of $1,375,000.

This accomplishment reflects the incredible generosity of the Hamblen County community. The additional funds raised have already been allocated to the United Way’s 21 partner agencies, further strengthening their ability to serve the community.

Campaign Success and Recognition

The United Way extends its gratitude to Carl Storms, the Campaign Chair, and his dedicated team of volunteers who tirelessly reached out to the community for support. Their efforts were instrumental in achieving this remarkable outcome.

Faith Bauer received this year’s Joe Q. Dougherty Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of her exceptional service. For the past 16 years, Faith has been a dedicated volunteer at Morristown Hamblen Central Services. Her unwavering work ethic, commitment to the organization, and willingness to go the extra mile have significantly improved the organization’s efficiency.
